Who I Am Drives My Work

pic2_edited.jpg

With over a decade of professional experience across various industries (Secondary Education, Environmental Consulting, Non-Profits), I know the challenges of turning complex content into engaging learning experiences.

A Pacific Northwest native, I have a Master in Teaching (MIT) from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Arts (East Asian Studies) from University of Washington. I've lived and taught abroad, and as a specialist for multilingual learners, I am attentive to accessibility in e-learning. Transitioning from classroom teacher to instructional designer, I bring the same pragmatism, flexibility, and high expectations to my work in instructional design.

My Story

Outside of work...

I’m married to my best friend, and we’re the fur-parents of two silly cats: Morty and Randy. When I’m not working, I'm often off climbing with the Mountaineers, singing with the Seattle Women's Chorus, or cooking up a spicy Sichuanese dish. To get a sense of who I am, check out some of my "highlight reel" life moments below.
